We use the BLUE STAR energy efficient Water-cooled Screw Chillers with flooded coolers using the environment friendly Refrigerant R 134 a which consumes only 0.61 to 0.63 KW/TR .
R134a is also known as Tetrafluoroethane (CF3CH2F) from the family of HFC refrigerants. It is also a long life substitute of R22, having ZERO Ozone depletion potential totally harmless to Ozone.
The Reciprocating Watercooled Chillers consume approximately 1 KW / TR.

SAVINGS IN OPERATING COST
Considering an application of 110TR for 24 hours per day, 300 days per year, loading of 70 % and a power tariff of Rs.5/- per kwh our New Energy efficient Screw Chillers will save you approximately  Rs.1025640 per year. The calculation is as follows:
( 1 – 0.63 ) KW / TR x 110TR x 24 hours x  300 days x 0.7 loading x Rs.5/- per kwh =  Rs.1025640/-  ( approximately Rs.9324/- per TR ).

The payback period for the investment in our Energy efficient Screw Chillers is less than 2 years.
